Class Descriptions

  • Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative style of yoga where poses are held for several minutes, allowing the body to gently open through stillness rather than effort. With a somatic lens, the practice becomes less about stretching deeply and more about sensing—cultivating awareness of internal experience as it unfolds in the body.

    Instead of pushing into shapes, practitioners are invited to listen to sensation, notice subtle shifts, and allow the nervous system to settle. Long holds create time and space to observe breath, tension, and areas of holding without needing to change them. The emphasis is on curiosity, somatic awareness, and embodiment.
